Do you have a wish ??

Life sometimes takes us to places we never even imagined visiting. Back in March 2022, on a whim, I planned a trip to West Sikkim.

It was there that I first heard about Khecheopalri Lake from my travel guide. He described it as a "Wish Fulfilling Lake"—a place where, if you ask for something from the bottom of your heart, it comes true. The lake is situated about 34 km away from Pelling.

When I arrived at the lakeside, the atmosphere was a bit unusual. At that time, many tourists were avoiding the area because, sadly, a large number of fish in the lake had died during that period. Seeing the condition of the lake made me feel a bit heavy-hearted, but I stepped inside anyway, carrying a small spark of faith in a corner of my mind. I stood there in the silence and made a prayer... just one wish.

Little did I know that miracles take their own time!

Looking back today, I realize that within exactly one year, that prayer was fulfilled word for word. I am forever grateful to the guide who encouraged me to go there despite the unfavorable conditions. There were few tourists and the lake was grieving its fish—yet, transcending all those obstacles, the spiritual energy of that place changed my life.

It truly changed my life forever.
